The WREX unisex t-shirt is emblazoned with the logo of one of Seattle's first punk/alternative music bars. Over the course of it's short life, the club saw local, regional and national bands; from fledgling punk outfits to a pre-Nevermind Nirvana to X. Joan Jett, and Iggy Pop played WREX. After three short years (1979-1982) the bar shut down, but re-emerged as The Vogue, another legendary club that helped usher in Seattle's internationally known grunge scene.
Proceeds from our merchanise help fund the non-profit SALISH SEA ARTS FOUNDATION, whose mission is to "preserve, document, and archive Northwest music history that would otherwise be lost." Proudly show your support!
