THE VISIBLE TARGETS Unisex 100% Cotton T-Shirt

THE VISIBLE TARGETS could easily be labelled the godmothers of the Roit Grrrl movement. Three sisters-Pamela Golden, Rebecca Hamilton, and Laura Keane were the front line while drummer Ron Simmons held the back. The sisters grew up in rural Eastern Washington statte, but found their way to London in the late 1970s. The timing was perfect! They returned to the US choosing Seattle as their home and were joined by SImmons, who was a childhood friend. Their debut EP was recorded in Olympia WA and produced by the mighty team of Drew Canulette, Steve Boyce, and Steve Fisk. Sub Pop's Bruce Pavitt was a fan and included the Visible Targets on his SubPop 5 cassette. The band found success on the Northwest alt music scene with their no-nonsense power pop, musicianship, and ability to write memorable songs. After a national tour the band settled into Vancouver Canada's Mushroom Studios where they recorded thei second EP, Autistic Savant, with Mick Ronson as producer.
